Okay, okay. I give! I'm finally taking the time to update my blog. Sorry it's taken so long. So what's new since the last time I wrote?
Well, Aubree go her 2 month immunizations; two in her right leg, one in her left, and one oral. She did okay at the doctor's office. She cried (what baby doesn't) and was fine a few minutres later. I get her home and she just screamed and screamed and wouldn't stop. This is unusual behavior for Aubree and I couldn't figure out what was wrong. I changed her diaper and noticed her right leg was slightly swollen. So that was the reason... her leg hurt. Anytime she would move her leg she would scream. I gave her baby tylonol and waited an hour. Still, she was screaming. So I called the doctor, and what do they tell me? Give her tylonol. Did that. Oh well she shoud eventually stop. Good advice (NOT!). Well, 3 hours later she stopped screaming, so I guess they were right. Poor baby:(
What else?
Aubree got her first cold. Jeremy brought it home, then I got it, then Aubs. I must say, saleen drops are the best invention EVER! Two drops of that in each nostril and the blue booger sucker, and she was a happy baby again. She got attention by coughing, so now when she feels like being cute and getting attention from Aunt Kira, she fake coughs. It's pretty hilarious!
Umm.. oh!
Aubree started sleeping through the night about a month ago. That is, until Sunday when she somehow knew I had to go back to work the next morning. Going from spending all day with Aubree to seeing her for only about 8 hours is hard. The days go by fast, but I miss her every second. It's good for her though. She gets some quality grandma time in the morning. Then she goes to Miss Peggy's, where she plays with friend until 4 when I pick her up.

We got Easter and Nakie baby pictures taken. It was so fun (and expensive)! One thing I learned is if they send me a coupon in the mail saying "FREE", I'm a sucker and actually believe for a second that I will be satisfied with what they give away for free. I don't think any parent can get pictures taken of their baby, then pick just one pose and a few prints. Anyway, Aubree was a doll and smiled and posed as if she'd been taking pictures her whole life. Oh wait.. she has. haha!
Here's some of the pictures. ENJOY!
Fake baby coughs rule the world in cuteness.
ReplyDeleteThose pictures are so cute. Where did you go? Me and Tim fell for the same thing when Talan was a baby with the coupons. Now we always take him to Kiddie Kandids, it's still a little pricy but it seems to be the best deal for the money.
